Dear Jack,

How's it going?  Things are pretty good over here.  We are going to have a USO show on the 22nd.  We may go on another operation, this time in “Arizona territory.”

26th Marines may pull out of Nam by March!

I've put in for an officer training.  I have to pass a series of tests first which ain’t easy.

Dad said he got my tapes.  I haven't gotten their’s yet with your guitar music.  

Henry does not a lot more mature in his letter.

Here is something out of Pacific Stars & Stripes I thought you would be interested in.

I got the pictures of Thanksgiving.

I can't wait to get out of this fucking country.

Well, I have to go out on an ambush in a few minutes.  Got to go.
