Hill 190

Dear Mom,

Well, I out of the hospital-- back on the Hill.  On my way back I went to Da Nang city, ate some good food and then returned.

I’m on two weeks light-duty as an MP.  I checked trucks and gooks on the Hill.  It's really a boring job but it beats going into the bush.

Terry is still bitching about her gun.  I told her I had no idea where it was. She, Darrel and LR may come over for it.  Tell her you know nothing about it.

Thanks again for the package.

Something came to mind.  If by some remote chance there was a family crisis and you want to notify me, call the Red Cross.  I just wanted to remind you just in case.

I heard the Orioles live lose 5-0.  I hope they can win.

They moved that date to November 13 to go to Namu Bridge.

It stopped raining and today is sunny and hot.

I understand that inflation has been a rising problem in the states.

I am okay!  Just homesick.  Sorry this is such a boring letter.

I'll write soon again.

Love,

Pete
